Twenty at a time — no more. When the wax loses its temperature, the grain of the scent collapses right along with it.
From day one, Sohyang has committed to small batches. In a place that chose the touch of the hand over convenience, and finish over scale, six scents were born.
We measure a perfumer-designed fragrance into American smoke-free soy wax at 6–9%. When the seasons turn, we recalibrate the ratios.
At 55°C — the moment the wax flows at its clearest — we pour into each ceramic vessel by hand. The wick is set and centered by eye.
Once poured, they rest in the shade for at least 72 hours. The scent settles deep into the wax, spreading evenly from the very first flame.

We use only 100% plant-based soy wax, free of petroleum byproducts. It burns long at a low temperature, leaving no soot and no harmful residue.
No animal-derived ingredients, and no animal testing at any stage of production. Paraffin and phthalates are ruled out, too.
Once burned down, a cup — or a small planter. The matte ceramic vessel is designed to live on where the scent leaves off.
